Designate Tasks to Plans

This article explains how to organize remediation tasks by assigning them to short-term, mid-term, or long-term plans. It helps you structure your client's cybersecurity roadmap and manage task priorities over time.

Why Use Task Plans?

Assigning tasks to plans allows you to:

  • Prioritize and categorize remediation work

  • Build a structured security roadmap

  • Simplify progress tracking in client meetings

How to Assign Tasks to Plans

You can assign tasks to plans from two views:

From the Tasks Table:

  1. Open the client’s Tasks page.

  2. Click the dropdown next to a task.

  3. Select Short-term, Mid-term, or Long-term.

From the Task Preview Screen:

  1. Open a specific task.

  2. Select a plan under the Plan section.

🕒 Recommended time frames:

  • Short-term: 1 month to 3 months

  • Mid-term: 3 months to 1 year

  • Long-term: Over 1 year
