What Is the Internal Scan?

Cynomi’s Internal Scan is a script-based tool designed to collect data from local network environments. It helps identify misconfigurations, outdated systems, and weak internal policies.

  • Operating system patch status

  • Domain controller configuration

  • Local admin account hygiene

  • Password policy settings

  • SMBv1 protocol presence

  • Group Policy Object (GPO) access and NTLM usage

How to Run

  1. Download the scan script from the Scans page.

  2. Run it on the client’s Active Directory server or endpoint.

  3. Upload the results back into Cynomi.
