Reviewing Scan Results

This article explains how to view and interpret scan results in Cynomi. It shows you where to find scan findings, how to filter them, and how they relate to policies and tasks.

How to Access Scan Results

  1. Go to the Scans → Results page in the left-hand menu.

  2. You’ll see a table summarizing all scan findings.

  3. Use filters to:

    • View all findings

    • See only the latest results per source

    • Sort by severity (Info or To Do)

Understanding the Results

  • Positive Findings (Severity: Info) – Informational only, no action required.

  • Negative Findings (Severity: To Do) – Require remediation and are linked to tasks.

You can view each result’s details and the related tasks and policies side-by-side.

⚠️ A task will only appear if the related assessment has already been completed.
