What Is a Task Owner?
A task owner is the individual responsible for completing or overseeing the implementation of a given task.

How to Assign an Owner

Open a task in the Tasks page.

In the Task Owner field, assign:

An existing user
-
Or an unlisted email (external team member)

Permissions & Role Notes

Service provider users can assign themselves or others.

Company users cannot assign service provider users unless granted extra permissions.
To allow this:

Go to User Management Panel.

Click User Actions → Edit.

Add role and permission for the user to the additional company.
Visibility in Reports
Task owners appear in the client’s Security Report, helping with visibility during stakeholder reviews or audits.
